Han Solo Baby Boomer Cover

Ok...so I'm EXTREMELY happy and proud to say that I was able to get my second sketchbook ready for SDCC...just barely. I was literally a few minutes away from missing my flight...

Anyhow, it's a new series that I'm starting off called Baby Boomers. If you're familiar with the Pure Heroine series, it's very similar where I take well known characters and put my own spin on them...except I turn them into cute kids & babies instead of cute girls!

I'm using this piece for the cover, it's a baby Han Solo, with a cute little Chewbacca stuffed toy. He's also under a Millenium Falcon mobile...and if you look really closely, his rattle toy is actually the Death Star.

I had some friends that really helped to work out the idea, and I'm really pleased with the result.

For this piece, I actually just dropped some quick photoshop colors underneath my penciled sketch.
