Here's one of my favorite pieces. It's done entirely with a dark blue pencil on bristol board. I really wanted to have some fun with it, and I really like images that tell a bit of a story. At a quick glance, you've got a cute Catwoman licking her paws like a cat. Then you notice the scared fish in the aquarium...then you notice the fish bones in her shadow (a lot of people miss it).
This is getting colored up by my colorist, and I'm changing the aquarium to a fish bowl. You'll see it when it's done!
Seeing as you've requested critiques, but I'm not cool enough to have a Pro Membership, I hope you don't mind if I write one here? I love the use of blue pencil, rather than black. While it doesn't show very blue on my monitor, the slight color gives it a little more life than just a black and white drawing would have. I'm really glad to hear you're going to change the Aquarium into a fishbowl: the current setup clashes with the figure, the sharp lines are a harsh contrast to the Catwoman's curves. I think the fish bones got a little too dark, and that adds to them getting lost in the shadows. It's a really nice drawing, love to see it in color!
