I've been putting up a lot of more polished work, but I also really like sketchy stuff, concepts, and fun art. One of the first sketchbooks that I published had a lot of randomness to it, as well as a lot of the pre-development for all the Pure Heroine line.

So...I figured I could put up a couple pages of that up here too!

uhm, one question why do animators use blue pencils to sketch? does it help for the animating process?
sorry i'm just curious D:

Sure! I think it's because waaaay back in the day, a lot of animators & comic book pencillers used a non-photo blue pencil, so when you photocopied it, the blue lines don't show up. I think a lot of the artists just got used to seeing the blue pencils, and it just stuck. I've also seen in some traditional animation work red & blue pencils, where the red is to indicate some sort of action. But really, to each their own!

I really like working out the pieces, it's a lot of fun just sketching out rougher stuff.
